You can accept Manufacturer Coupons at POS when ringing up a Sale or a Suspended Transaction. This feature supports scanning all barcode symbologies that occur on manufacturer's coupons, including GS1, UPC, and 3 of 9. Coupons are validated on the company prefixes and family codes only; the Eagle cannot validate coupons for individual items. In cases where coupons contain conditions and limitations that are only printed on the coupon, these special conditions are also not validated by Eagle. Ensuring that the coupon is valid is the responsibility of the store/clerk. Manufacturers and coupon clearing houses may only validate that the store carries the item(s) for which the coupon is being redeemed. To control what manufacturer coupons you accept at POS, you can include and/or exclude company prefixes and/or family codes.
