Epicor Eagle™ Point of Sale For Windows has available, as a purchase option, a built-in interface to "PartSmart,™" a third-party catalog product. The interface supports two features, item inquiry and item posting into an Epicor Eagle™ Point of Sale for Windows transaction. Some examples of catalogs supported by PartSmart include Briggs and Stratton (small engine parts), Echo (chain saws, weed eaters, etc.), Lawn Boy Equipment, and Mercury Marine.
When you perform an item inquiry in the PartSmart Catalog, the Replacement Cost, Retail, Primary Location and Quantity On Hand fields come from your Epicor Eagle™ system. Item inquiry supports Eagle for Windows' "smart look-up" logic; thus, you can load your PartSmart item numbers using the SKU, Manufacturer Part Number or UPC code.
When you post items from PartSmart into POS, the transactions types supported include sale, credit memo, order, special order and estimate.
