(PartSmart⢠users only)
Before using the PartSmart interface in POS, use the following procedure to set up the program path name. Additionally, if you are running Windows XP, 2000, or NT, you must set up the default temp file, which is also described below.
Within the PartSmart catalog, in the BSV Link field found in "Configure PartSmart" under the Utilities menu, you must add the following program path name:
C:\3apps\catapult\partsmart.exe
If you are running Epicor Eagle⢠for Windows on Windows XP or Windows 2000, set the user's default temp path to C:\winnt\temp using the following steps:
From your desktop, right-click My Computer
Select Properties
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the Environment Variables tab
Under the top box, select TEMP, and click the Edit button, then type %systemroot%\TEMP.
(Network setups only) Under the top box, select TMP, and click the Edit button, then type %systemroot%\TEMP
Click OK until all the dialog boxes are closed
on Windows 2000, the temp file path is defined per signed-on user, so you need to repeat this process on each user's PC.
If you are running Eagle for Windows on Windows NT, set the user's default temp path to C:\winnt\temp using the following steps:
From your desktop, right-click My Computer
Select Properties
Click on the Environment tab
Set the User Environment to C:\winnt\temp
on Windows NT, the temp file path is defined per signed-on user, so you need to repeat this process on each user's PC.
