Recost Method

This field in the Copy Reprice and the Batch Reprice dialog in POS indicates how you want to recost the transaction.

This field is required. The default is O.  

The system will not recost any items on the transaction that are not currently in Inventory Maintenance.

A = Average cost. Change the costs to the average cost in Function IMU (Inventory Master Update).

E = Recost using the cost indicator on the Big Header Screen. Change the cost based on the Cost field.

K = Market cost. Change the costs to the market cost in Inventory Maintenance.

M = Manufacturer cost. Change the costs to the manufacturer cost in Inventory Maintenance.

O = Original cost, do not recost. The cost at the time the transaction was created remains.

R = Replacement cost. Change the cost to the replacement cost in Inventory Maintenance.

Y = Increase the cost by a designated percent.  If you choose this option, you must also enter a percentage in the Cost Increase/Decrease % field.

Z = Decrease the cost by a designated percent.  If you choose this option, you must also enter a percentage in the Cost Increase/Decrease % field.
