This field is in the Copy Reprice/Batch Reprice dialog in POS. Use it to indicate how you want to reprice the transaction.
N = Do not reprice the transaction.
O = Reprice the transaction using the original GP%. The original GP% is the GP% of the posted line item, not the GP% of the item from Inventory Maintenance . When using this option, enter the cost to use in the Recost field (change the default of O; do not recost). When you use this option, the GP% remains unchanged and the price is adjusted compared to the GP%. This means that if the cost decreased since the transaction was created, then the price will decrease (and the GP% remains the same). If you enter O, the cursor skips to the Recost field.
S = Reprice the transaction based on a total transaction amount that you specify. If you enter S, the cursor skips to the Amount field. For example: You create an estimate for a job. The estimate total is $2000. You decide to reprice the job to $1800, reducing the total by $200. The system reduces the price on all items on the estimate by 10% ($200/$2000 = 10%).
Y = Reprice the transaction and update the price indicator accordingly. If you enter Y, the system reprices the transaction based on the criteria you enter in the Price Indicator field. The system will not reprice any items on the transaction that are not currently in Inventory Maintenance.
I = Same as Y (above), except the price indicator is not updated.
A = Increase each item's price by a percent. If you select this option, you must also fill in the Price Increase/Decrease % field.
B = Decrease each item's price by a percent. If you select this option, you must also fill in the Price Increase/Decrease % field.
