Service and Repair: Set Up Signature Capture Devices

(Service and Repair users only)

Follow the steps below to set up a signature capture device.

  1. Locate the POS status that has a signature capture device.

  2. Verify that POS is not running.

  3. Display the Device Configuration window.

  4. Click Misc, and select option T – Update Signature Capture for Terms and Conditions. The Update Terms and Conditions window displays with the Note ID’s that were assigned in Options Configuration.

  5. Click Download to initiate the download process. The first window that displays is building the download file and takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute to complete.

  6. At the confirmation window, click Yes to begin the download or No to cancel. If you select yes, the signature pad version screen displays.

  7. Click OK to complete the download. This step takes approximately 10 minutes and reboots the signature capture device when complete.
