The Windows taskbar should be set to "Auto-Hide" in order to dedicate the maximum amount of display area for POS Touch. To activate the "Auto-Hide" feature, follow these steps:
Right-click the Windows Start button, and select "Properties."
Click the Taskbar tab.
Check mark the box next to "Auto-Hide the taskbar."
Click Apply, then click OK.
If you want to be able to "tap" on a posted line item to change the quantity and/or price, set option 5435 "Allow double-click in the posting grid to invoke item change" to Yes in Options Configuration.
Do the following at each POS Touch station.
To provide more touchable (larger font) grids, at each POS Touch station enter POS and click Tools/Options/Station, and change the POS Grid selection to Default Touch Grid. Then click the Viewers tab and change the Customer Grid, Inventory Items Grid, and Quick Recall grid to Default Touch View.
In order to give POS Touch a cleaner look, the Default Touch Grid for POS does not include the grid lines. If you want to add them, right-click on a column in the grid, select Control Panel, then select Style, and select Normal. Then use File and Save View along with the <Save> button to replace this view.
