You can print a gift receipt for a transaction that was rung up today, or if you have QuickRecall, you can print a gift receipt for an archived transaction. Gift receipts print on your receipt printer with the title "GIFT RECEIPT" at the top. Each item and its quantity sold prints (prices, tax, and total do not print). By default, all items on the transaction print on the gift receipt, but you also have the option to select which items should print.
With your cursor in the Item (SKU) field, click NoSale, and then click Print Gift Receipt. The Print Gift Receipt dialog box displays.
Multistore: In the Store box, select the store in which the transaction occurred.
Do one of the following in the Print Gift Receipt dialog:
To print a gift receipt for the last transaction, leave the default.
To print a gift receipt for another transaction from today, click QuickRecall, highlight the appropriate transaction, and click Select.
If you have QuickRecall, and you want to print a gift receipt for an archived transaction, click QuickRecall, highlight the appropriate transaction, and click Select in the QuickRecall window.
(Optional) To select the items to be included on the gift receipt, click Select. In the dialog that displays, place a checkmark by the items you want to include, then press Enter.
(Optional) If you want to view the document before you print the gift receipt, click Viewer.
(Optional) In the Number of copies box, enter the number of copies you want of the gift receipt.
Click OK. The gift receipt prints.
