Viewing a Customer Price List

Use the following procedure to view a customer price list in POS. You can also export the list to Excel if the customer wants a copy. Note: lookup by manufacture part number is not supported with this feature.

1. Set option 8287 “Display the Inventory Viewer in expanded format?” to Yes or H (HWHC) in Options Configuration.

2. In POS, enter the customer for whom you need a price list, place your cursor in the Item (SKU) field, and press F9 to display the Inventory Viewer

3. Use the appropriate lookups and filters to display only the relevant items.

4. Select any or all of the following columns that are relevant to a customer price list: Customer Price (POS)+The customer's price not including any "sells withs" (related items set up with type 4 - Sells With, or type 5 - Sells or Credits With). , Customer Sells With (POS)+ The sum of any "sells with's" (type 4 - Sells With, or type 5 - Sells or Credits With)., Customer Total Price (POS)+The sum of these two columns (Customer Price+ and Customer Sells With+). Note: lookup by manufacture part number is not supported with this feature., and Customer Price Src (POS)+.  If desired, save the view you just created for future use.

   

   The option "POS Display Price Code" (ID# 900) must be set to Y in Options Configuration in order for this column to be populated in the Viewer.

   This column shows the source of the customer’s price. It is the same code (expanded to a word) that shows when you display the item in POS.

   

   In this example, the code "M" in the item display in POS is expanded to the description "Matrix" in the Customer Price Src column. Other codes and their expanded descriptions include:

   C = Cost

   L  = List

   M= Matrix

   O= Open Quote

   P = CPP

   Q = Qty Break

   S = Promo Subsys

   blank  = Standard Retail Price

5. If desired, export the grid information to Excel for delivery to the customer.
