Apple Pay Overview

Eagle supports Apple Pay for consumers using an iPhone 6 or higher. This support for Near Field Communication (NFC) capability is only available on Ingenico ISC250 pin pads that have had their firmware updated to RBA 12.0 from the Eagle client. Currently, this is supported for Eagle retailers processing Credit Card Payments via Epicor Payment Gateway (EPG).

Hardware and Software Requirements

Your system must meet the following criteria to begin using Apple Pay:

• You have installed Release 24.1.
• You must have the Ingenico ISC 250 credit/debit pads, running retail-based application (RBA) version 12.01 or higher.
• You are processing Eagle Direct Credit Card Payments via EPG with FDMS or Global. Note: Apple Pay is not available with ProtoBase.
• You have the most current version of FDMS or Global interfaces. This is distributed to all FDMS/Global merchants via automatic patch distribution.
