Setting Up System-Wide Purchasing Options

Use the following procedure to set up the system-wide options that govern how the Purchasing application works. These options are referred to as "system-wide" because they are the same for all stores, all terminals, and all users.

  1.    Display the Options Configuration window.

  2. In the Subsystem box, select Purchasing, and in the Options box, select System Options.

  3. Click Display. All of the system-wide Purchasing options display in the grid.

  4. Click in the Current Value column of the first item in the grid, and click the arrow that displays.

  5. Select your response in the window that displays, and press ENTER.

  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the rest of the items in the grid.

    Note: For any items in the grid that cannot be changed, "No" displays in the "Edit" column.

  1. Click Change on the toolbar to save your selections.
