Setting Up Purchasing and Receiving Security

There are several security bits associated with the Purchasing and Receiving application. This topic explains how to display those security bits so you can review them and then assign them appropriately to your employees.

1. Display the Security Maintenance window or the Role-Based Security Maintenance window.
2. Double-click on the Sub System column heading to sort the security bits by subsystem (application). Then scroll down to the Purchasing bits.

3. Review the Purchasing bits and decide how you want to set them for your employees.
