Report Example

The following is an example of the report. Click a field in the report to take you to the field definition.

Report Field Definitions

The following is a list in alphabetical order of the fields on the RSA report. The Daily Journal Report (RDJ) run with Option F (Finalize) updates the PTD figures and YTD figures. The PTD figures are cleared each time the RSA report is run with Option P (Period-end Update). The YTD figures are cleared and moved to the YTD column each time the RSA report is run with Option Y (Year-end Update).

% of Profit— The profit dollars reported in the Profit field as a percentage of the total profit on this RSA report. It is a calculated as: (Profit $ divided by Total Profit $) x 100

% of Sales— The sales dollars reported in the Sales field as a percentage of the total sales on this RSA report. It is calculated as: (Sales $ divided by Total Sales $) x 100

Account Name— The name for the account from the customer record in Customer Maintenance (MCR).

Bal Met— The balance method for the account. B = Balance Forward, O = Open Item, R = Revolving Charge.

Codes— The account codes from the customer record in Customer Maintenance (MCR).

Cost— The cost of goods sold to this account.

Cust#— The customer number of the account.

Job— The job number of the customer account.

Dis %— Discount percent. The amount entered in the Trade Disc % field in Customer Maintenance (MCR) for the account.

GP%— Gross profit percent, calculated as Profit dollars divided by Sales dollars.

Options— The option codes used when running this report. For a definition of each Option, click here to go to the help topic.

Profit— Calculated as Sales dollars minus Cost of goods sold.

Rank By— This is the Print Sequence for the report, it indicates the criteria used to rank the customer data.

Sales Rep— The salesperson code assigned to the account in Customer Maintenance (MCR).

S P— Standard Price. The standard selling price for the account from the account record in Customer Maintenance (MCR). A = Average cost, C = Replacement cost, L = List, Q = Retail price without quantity break pricing, R = Retail, 1 - 5 = Price matrix pricing code.

Sales— Sales dollars for this account.

T C— Terms Code. The terms code for this account from the account record in Customer Maintenance (MCR).
