With the Suggested Order Report (RSO), the system generates and prints (or spools) a suggested order. In addition, the system can create a PO based on the suggested order.
From the Purchasing and Receiving window, click Reports, and then click Suggested Orders (RSO). The Suggested Order Report window displays.
From the Eagle Browser, click Reports Menu, Purchasing and Receiving Reports, Suggested Orders (RSO). The Suggested Order Report window displays.
If you have set up a Default Report Profile for this report, you can simply click Run to use the defaults. Or, you can retrieve a saved report, make any necessary changes, and click Run. Otherwise, continue with the next step.
From the Print Setup page, fill in the desired fields. For a definition of each field, click here.
Click . A page of fields displays. In the Order Calc Options, Selection Options, and Other Options boxes, click the checkbox next to the options you want.

If you want to limit the items for which the system prints a suggested order, fill in the appropriate information in the blank fields. For example, if you want to print a suggested order for items from a particular primary vendor, enter a vendor code in the Prime Vendor boxes, as shown in the following example.
Multistore: If you want to create a multistore purchase order, select All Stores in the Store field. You must also select Other Options F to Create a Final PO (see step 5 above).
Review the default entries in the other fields and make changes if needed.
Click . A page of fields displays. Fill in the desired fields to include or exclude groups of items. For a definition of each field, click here.
If you chose Printing Sequence 5 (User Defined) on the From/To page, click . If you did not choose Printing Sequence 5, skip this step.
Fill in the fields to define the sequence in which you want the report to print. For a definition of each field, click here.
If you chose Other Options F (Create a Final PO) or W (Create a Non-Final PO) on the Options page, click . If you did not choose Other Options F or W, skip this step.
Fill in the fields to assign attributes to the PO. For a definition of each field, click here.
(Optional) Click . A page of fields displays. Fill in the fields if you want to fax the report.

Click Run if you are running this report now, or click Queue if you are adding this report to a queue. For more information about creating queues, click here.
Some items on the Suggested Order (RSO) may have a code next to the New Order Qty, such as 1S or 3C. See the list below to identify the meaning of the code.
I = insufficient stock
O = out-of-stock
N = not-stocked
D = discontinued
T = item is going to be discontinued
C = central ship item
H = item hub ship
M = item mfg ship
M = central-ship-from-me
R = item has referral
S = item has substitute (alternate)
X = item not in my RSC/RDC
