This field on the RPA report determines the popularity code assigned to each item. The system ranks the items you specify in the From and To fields in relation to other items in the same Ranking Group. Based on the sales history you choose, the system assigns a popularity code to each item until the "Maximum Number per Group" is reached.
You can change the breakpoints at which items are ranked.
A = The popularity code changes from A to B when the % Cum field is greater than this percentage. The % Cum is the running total of the ranking for all items on the report. As each item prints, the system adds that item's % Total to the % Cum for the last item. The default is 70.
B = The popularity code changes from B to C when the % Cum field is greater than this percentage. The % Cum is the running total of the ranking for all items on the report. As each item prints, the system adds that item's % Total to the % Cum for the last item. The default is 85.
C = The popularity code changes from C to D when the % Cum field is greater than this percentage. The % Cum is the running total of the ranking for all items on the report. As each item prints, the system adds that item's % Total to the % Cum for the last item. The default is 95.
D = A popularity of D is assigned to items whose % Cum field is greater than the % breakpoint for C. For example, if the % breakpoint for C is 95, then D items would represent the last 5%. The default is 100, which you can not change.
X = A popularity of X is assigned to items who did not contribute to the analysis sequence you chose (Units Sold, Dollars Sold, Gross Profit Dollars, Gross Profit %, On Hand Value, YTD Transactions).
