The following security bits are used with the Eagle Alerts application. For more information about setting up security, click here.
Security bit 662 - "Access to Alert User Profile Setup." If a user has this bit, he/she can access the Alert User Profile window, where users' alerts are defined. If a user doesn't have this bit, he/she cannot access the window.
Security bit 663 - "Ability to See All Alerts for All Users." If a user has this bit, he/she has the ability to see alerts for any user when using the Alerts Viewer. If a user doesn't have this bit, the user can only see the alerts he/she is set up to see as per the Alert User Profile window.
Security Bit 675 - "Ability to add Eagle reminder Alerts." This bit gives you the ability to add Reminders from the Alerts Viewer (via the Misc option "Schedule Reminders"), or from the Vendor Maintenance window (via the GoTo option "Enter Reminder"). Reminders are user-defined Eagle Alerts that you set up to remind you of a particular event on a particular date. If a clerk has this bit and the Alert option "Allow user-defined reminder alerts" is set to Yes in Options Configuration, then you can enter reminders from the Alerts Viewer and from Vendor Maintenance.
The Eagle Alerts feature is not available for the ISC operating system.
