To access this field: from the Options Configuration window, click Misc-->Change MIV Ranges-->Change Journal # Ranges. The option "Alt Journal # Usage" must be set to Y to use this field. This field works in conjunction with the field "Ending Alternate Journal #." This field is numeric. You can enter up to six numbers.
Set this field to "1" for each store, or if you already have cash transactions on file, set this field to a number higher than the highest journal number already on file in that store. Multistore users: Note that the system supports having the same journal number in different stores.
