'Display' After Barcode Scan? (D/L/Y/N)

This POS option in Options Configuration determines what displays at POS when a UPC is scanned or a SKU is entered.

D = The SKU automatically displays after the clerk fills in the Item (SKU) field and presses ENTER. Only use this option if you do not use scanners at POS.

Pharmacy Users: Use of option "D" will disable the Will Call functionality at POS.

L = The following information displays when a UPC is scanned at POS:

• SKU

• description

• quantity

• price

N = Only the SKU displays.

Y = The following information displays when a UPC is scanned at POS:

• price

• description

• quantity available

• quantity-on-hand

• quantity-on-order

• manufacturer's part number

• cost (optional)
