This POS option in Options Configuration determines if customer account balance information displays in the Customer Details dialog that appears in POS after a clerk looks up a customer or job account.
N = Do not display customer account balance information at POS.
R = Display the following customer account balance information at POS:
Credit Available (CRD A)
Running Balance (RB)
Statement Balance (SB)
Date of Last Payment (DLP)
and
Adjust the displayed running balance each time a payment amount is posted during a POS ROA (received on account) transaction.
Y = Display the following customer account balance information at POS:
Credit Available (CRD A)
Running Balance (RB)
Statement Balance (SB)
Date of Last Payment (DLP)
but do not adjust the running balance during a POS ROA (received on account) transaction.
Note: The Customer Details dialog always appears after selecting the customer unless the customer’s Credit Message from Customer Maintenance (MCR) blank and POS Tools/Options/’Show Customer Detail when leaving the header only if there is a Credit Message’ is checked.
