Order Header Code Used as Order Status

(ID# 4811) This POS option in Options Configuration allows you to specify the header transaction code that you use for tracking Order Status. The system then uses this code to:

  1. when saving an order, the system asks the clerk if the Order Status needs to be updated (Refer to option 4812 "Prompt for Order Status Change?")

  2. In the Open Order Viewer, the order status is a column which can be used to filter for a specific Order Status.

Prerequisite: This transaction code must have a user-defined label and choice list. For example, if you are using the second transaction code for your order status, enter "Order Status" in option 4802, and enter your status choices in option 4807.

Note: Although the concept for options 4811 and 4812 are for tracking "Order Status," they can be used for any other purpose.
