(System Audit and Reporting Tools users only)
Use the following procedure to set up your system to use the Inventory Maintenance Changes Viewer.
Changes made in legacy IMU are not recorded in the Inventory Maintenance Changes Viewer.
The Licensing Department or Eagle Advice Line must activate the flag "Inventory Maintenance Changes Viewer on System" in Options Configuration.
Assign security for the Inventory Maintenance Changes Viewer to the appropriate employees, as follows:
Assign bit 714 for employees who will have access to the Inventory Maintenance Changes Viewer.
Bits 658 and 682: bit 658 gives a clerk "display only" capability in legacy IMU, while bit 682 allows "full" legacy IMU functionality. To limit clerks to "display only" functionality in legacy IMU, set bit 658 to Yes and bit 682 to No. Or, disallow access to legacy IMU altogether by setting both bits to No. Note that if a clerk will have access to legacy IMU, whether they'll have "full" access or "display only" access, he/she must also have one or more of the standard IMU bits: bit 221 (access to Stocking screen), bit 225 (access to Pricing screen), bit 227 (access to Codes screen), bit 229 (access to History screen), and bit 234 (access to Vendor Information screen).
The reason you should consider limiting access to legacy IMU is that changes performed in legacy IMU are not reflected in the Inventory Maintenance Changes Viewer.
