This topic describes how to complete a Transfer that was previously created and is currently a status R (request) or S (ship). The merchandise has arrived at the To-store and after checking in the merchandise you'll set the transfer status to C so that appropriate inventory and accounting records in the To-store are updated.
Complete this procedure at any store. However, if you are not locked in to the To-store, a message will display.
After the merchandise arrives at the To-store, check it in against the packing list, invoice, or copy of the transfer document. Make note of any discrepancies and decided how you want to handle it. Damaged merchandise is usually returned to the To-store, so that inventory counts remain accurate at both stores. Over-shipment quantities can be kept or returned to the To-store.
