Setting Up Security and Vendor Record for Loyalty Programs

Before using your Loyalty program (Ace Rewards, True Value Rewards, or Best Rewards), you need to set up security for the loyalty constants screen, and for the loyalty customer setup screen. You must also set up the vendor record.

Setting Up Security

The following security bits need to be added to your user ID in Security Maintenance:

 Bit 10– allows you to view Customer Loyalty constants (HCC, TVC, TAC)

 Bit 11– allows you to change Customer Loyalty constants (HCC, TVC, TAC)

 Bit 314– allows you to view Customer Loyalty information (ARCM, TVR, BRLC)

 Bit 315– allows you to add/change/delete Customer Loyalty information (ARCM, TVR, BRLC)

Setting Up the Vendor Record

In Vendor Maintenance (MVR), locate the vendor you use when placing your orders from your vendor with whom you utilize a loyalty program (Ace Rewards, True Value Rewards, or Best Rewards).  Make sure that your member number is in the Assigned Customer number field.
