Certain software flags need to be enabled before you can use the LDT/PDT with your Epicor Eagle™ system. In addition, you must give security bit to any user who will run UCID or UCPD (these functions create the Inventory and Purchase Order data bases, respectively).
To verify that the LDT/PDT software flags have been enabled, do the following:
From the Eagle Browser, click System Management Menu, and click Options Configuration.
In the Subsystem box, select All.
In the Options box, select MSY-System Parameters.
Click Display. The MSY options display in the grid.
Verify that the following four fields have Yes in the Current Value column:
Is the Unity LDT handheld allowed?
Is the Unity Telxon handheld allowed? (if utilizing the Telxon)
LDT Build Database and Merge
Member of True Value
If any of these fields do not have Yes in the Current Value column, call the Eagle Advice Line at 1-800-322-3077.
