(Vendor Rebate users only)
The Rebate Tracking Viewer is the repository for rebate transaction data that accumulates as you process transactions. You can use the viewer to view rebate data, export rebate data to Excel, and to track rebates claimed and rebates received.
In order for the Rebate Tracking Viewer to get updated with data, the Replacement Cost in Inventory Maintenance must be different than the Rebate Cost.
Display the Vendor Maintenance window. Then select the vendor you want to display in the Vendor field.
Click GoTo, and select Rebate Tracking Viewer.
If you want to limit the rebate information that displays, you can fill in a Start Date and End Date.
Click Refresh. Rebate information for the vendor displays.
To enter the date you claimed a rebate, click Misc, and select Set Rebate Claimed Date. In the dialog box that displays, fill in the appropriate information and click OK. Then click Change on the toolbar.
To enter the date you received a rebate, click Misc, and select Set Rebate Received Date . In the dialog box that displays, fill in the appropriate information and click OK. Then click Change on the toolbar.
To enter the amount of a rebate you received, click Misc, and select Set Rebate Received Amount . In the dialog box that displays, fill in the appropriate information and click OK. Then click Change on the toolbar.
(Optional) To export the rebate information to excel, click the Excel button on the lower right side of the grid.
If you have Request or ODBC, you may choose to create your own custom Rebate report rather than exporting rebate information to Excel.
