In order to collect the inventory and accounts receivable data that displays in Business Advisor, you must enable a pre-built queue called BUSADV. This queue includes the Inventory Valuation report (RIV) and the A/R Aging report (RAG).
The pre-built BUSADV queue is for a single store. If your business is multistore, you must modify the queue (as described below) to gather inventory information for all stores.
Do not run more than one Inventory Valuation Report (RIV) with Option H to gather Business Advisor Data per day. If you run more than one RIV report with Option H in a single day, then the inventory value will be overstated. Contact the Eagle Advice Line if you run RIV Option H more than once in a single day.
From Network Access, at the Function prompt, type SEQ and press <Enter>.
Using the Up or Down arrows, highlight the queue named BUSADV.
Press <Run>.
Press <Tab> to move to the ENABLE column.
Type Y and press <Enter>.
Press <Change>.
Press <End> to exit.
Multistore only: RIV, one of the Business Advisor reports, includes a Store field that must be modified for multistore. Do the following to modify it:
From the Eagle Browser, click Applications, then click System Management Menu. From the list that displays, click End-of-Day Queue Maintenance.
From the Queue drop-down list, select BUSADV to display the two reports in this queue.
Double-click anywhere in the row for the RIV report. When prompted with the save your changes dialog, click OK. The Inventory Valuation Report window displays.
Click From/To. In the Store field, clear any store number that displays so that the Store field is blank.
In the Tool bar, click Queue. Click 1 to save your changes back to the BUSADV queue. When prompted, click Yes to exit.
In the End-of-Day Queue Maintenance window, click Display. The Store field for the RIV report is now blank.
The Store field for the RAG report displays 1. This is okay, the RAG report will create Business Advisor data for all stores, even though Store 1 displays in this window.
