ItemPart Lists Security and Options
You must have the following option and security bits set up before you can begin using ItemPart Lists.
Set Up Option 9585
Option 9585 "Inventory ItemPart Lists Enabled" must be set to Yes in order to use the ItemPart Lists feature.
Set Up Security Bits
Set up the following security bits for ItemPart Lists.
Bit 954 "Ability to access ItemPart List MaintenanceControls the ability to access the Item List Maintenance window, which is used to create and maintain lists of inventory items for various uses. "
Bit 960 "Ability to change itempart lists created by another userControls the ability to change an Item List created by another user. "Change" refers to: deleting times from a list, deleting a list, and renaming a list. "
Bit 962 "Ability to add itemsparts to a list created by another userControls the ability to add an item to an Item List created by another user. Use this bit along with bit 960 "Ability to change Item Lists created by another user" to cover these scenarios:
1. Want user to be able to view and change Item Lists created by another user (all aspects of change, including adding item, deleting item, deleting list, and renaming list). Set bit 960 to Yes and set this bit (962) to Yes.
2. Want user to be able to view and change Item Lists created by another user, except no ability to add items to the list. set bit 960 to Yes and set this bit (962) to No.
3. Want the user to be able to view all Item Lists, but can only change those lists they created. Set both bit 960 and this bit (962) to No.
Note: this bit and bit 960 only apply to changing Item Lists in the Item List Maintenance window. They do not apply, for example, to making changes/additions to Item Lists used in the Eagle Mobile applications. "
Bit 1111 "Ability to access Physical Inventory Item Lists"
Bit 1112 "Ability to access Dynamic Promotion Item Lists"
Bit 1113 "Ability to access Ordering Item Lists"
Bit 1114 "Ability to access Label Item Lists"
