Completing a Basic Cash Sale

1. In the Item (SKU) box of POS, type the SKU number for the first item you are selling.

2. Press display. Information about this SKU displays.

3. In the Quantity box, type the quantity you are selling.

4. Press enter.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each item you are selling.

6. Press total. The total due displays and you can enter a payment amount.

7. In the Cash box, type the amount of cash the customer gives you and press enter.
   If you do not type a decimal point, the system automatically places a decimal point two places to the left of the last number you enter.

8. What happens next depends on your terminal setup. Usually a receipt prints on the receipt printer. You may also see a window that displays the change due and asks if you want to print an invoice for this transaction.
