Serial Number Viewer (SNV) displays serial numbers for a specific SKU or for all SKUs based on their status: Available, Sold, or All. For multi-store customers with Option 8990 “Require Store when adding Serial #'s” set to Yes, you can see the serial numbers of a specific store or all stores.
The Serial Number Viewer is available from the Eagle Browser, type SNV in the Launch bar, and click Enter (alternatively, you can click the Inventory folder, click Setup and Maintenance and then click Serial Number Viewer).
Highlight a serial number in the grid and use the toolbar’s <Drill> button to display the QuickRecall transaction(s) on which that serial number was sold, or returned, or traded-in, or transferred. If there is only one transaction it will be displayed. If there is more than one transaction, you will see the list of transactions and can display the one you’d like to view.
The grid contains information for the following (some columns are initially hidden, so you must right-click a column heading and "select columns to view" to display them):
Item the serial number belongs to including: Department, Class, Fineline, Primary Vendor, Manufacture, Location, QOH, QOO, COQ, Date Added, Date Last Receipt, Date Last Sale, Last Physical, and the Firearm attributes. Note: Store specific information such as QOH is for the store the serial number exists in, unless you are not tracking serial numbers by store in which case it will be for the terminal’s lock in store.
Serial number: Store (if you are tracking by store), Status, Reference, Date Added, Date Sold, PO Number, PO Line Number, Source, Coupon Customer (for serialized coupons).
Physical Inventory by Serial Numbers: PIP Count Status, PIP Count Exception, SN Last Physical.
POS Transaction: Doc #, Doc # Store, Doc #/Line #, POS Transaction Type, Cust #, Job, Customer Name, Customer Phone #.
