Changing Units of Measure

If you have Lumber/Contractor POS, you can change the unit of measure you use to sell an item and price an item.

For example: You are selling an item that is set up for you to enter the quantity in board feet (BF). You want to change the unit of measure so that you enter the quantity as an each (EA).

For example: You are selling an item whose pricing unit of measure is a thousand board feet (MF). You want to change the unit of measure to piece (PC) to make it easier for your customer to understand.

You can choose from the following units of measure:

• pricing

• stocking

• alternate
