A warning displays if you try to over receive an item in Receive by PO or Transfer Receiving.

Question_Mark.gifCan I use quantities when creating an item list?

Yes. The quantity allows you determine how many labels are printed when you turn the item list into a label file. If you create a list without quantities, a quantity of 1 is used.

To make sure the quantities from your list are used when printing labels, set the label type to “other” when importing the label file into Label Manager. If it is set to the default of “Bin Label” and any item has “# of bin labels” set to anything other than N in the Codes tab in IMU, that quantity is used rather than the quantity in the file.

Lists with quantities can be changed in Item List Maintenance to a list with the type “Ordering” and can then be fed into RSO to generate orders with the quantities in the list.
