Setting up Random Lengths Options

Before you begin importing Random Lengths price changes, you must set up the Random Lengths options in Options Configuration.

1.   Display the Options Configuration window.

2. At Subsystem, select Inventory from the drop-down list. At Options, select E4W - Eagle for Windows from the drop-down list. Click Display.

3. Click in the Current Value column of the option "Random Length Input Directory" (ID# 3020). Click the arrow that displays.

4. In the box that displays, type the directory you created for Random Lengths files, and click OK.  For example, the directory may be C:\My Documents\RandomLengths.

Note:  Make sure you use backslashes (\) when entering the directory.  Do not enter forward slashes (/).

5. Click in the Current Value column of the option "Random Length Destination Price" (ID# 3021). Click the arrow that displays.

6. Select the cost you want to update in the Item Price Changes window, and click OK.

7. Click in the Current Value column of the option "Random Lengths Alternate Vendor" (ID# 3022).  Click the arrow that displays.

8. Enter the appropriate alternate vendor, and click OK.

9. Click Change on the toolbar.
