Welcome to Epicor Eagle⢠Inventory for Windows. At the most basic level, inventory can be defined as managing the stock on your shelves. But your Inventory application includes much more than that. You can keep records of each item that you stock and analyze sales trends. In addition to that, you can use the Inventory application to:
keep quantity-on-hand
evaluate popularity of items
monitor gross profit percent, turn rates, and GMROI
purchase, price, stock, and sell items using different units of measure
keep department, class, and fineline sales and purchase histories
group items using user codes so that you can track sales, create purchase orders, or change prices for a specific group of items
take a physical inventory
In addition to the classic Inventory functions and reports that you can access from the Main Menu, you also have available Inventory for Windows . This includes item information along with department, class, and fineline sales and purchase information. In addition, Inventory for Windows includes the following:
easy item lookup by SKU number, UPC, or manufacturer part number
pricing tools including a price matrix, quantity break table, and price rounding table
promotion lookup and entry
The easy to use online help system can assist you in finding out what you need to know about the Inventory application. Look at the list of books on the left side of your screen. Inside the Inventory book you'll find other books with information topics. Double-click a book to open or close it. The topic list displays when a book is open. Double-click a topic to display it on your screen.
