Personal Check Verification
You must have Telecheck Check Authorization to use this procedure.

Total the transaction

Total the transaction.

Press the Tab key to reach the Check field.

Press Enter to place the total check amount in the Check field.

Enter customer information

Click Personal on the right side of the dialog box.

Click in the Driver’s License field, and enter the driver’s license number. Then fill in the following fields, pressing Tab to move from field to field:

State abbreviation
-
Telecheck state code
-
Customer's date of birth (without slashes or spaces)
-
Type of check (personal)
-
Leave the Acct# and Auth Code fields blank

Click OK to process the transaction.
To bypass check authorization, enter a random number (for example, your store number) in the Auth Code field. Remember, the check will not be authorized because the system will not consult Telecheck for an authorization.
