Emery Waterhouse Telecommunications Setup
Before you can begin sending and receiving information from Emery Waterhouse Inc. you must 1) prepare your Epicor system for communications, 2) Enter your Emery Waterhouse member number in Vendor Maintenance (MVR), 3) set up Emery control streams and (4) Build flex reports EMREFM and EMRNEW in Network Access function DEF if you will be receiving Electronic File Maintenance (EFM). You must subscribe to Emery’s price changes and item file changes in order to electronically receive this information. Contact Emery at (207) 775-2371 to verify you are set up for these services and to obtain your member number. Also make sure that Emery clears your mailbox before you send and receive your first electronic order.
1	Enter your member number in Vendor Maintenance From the Eagle Browser, click Inventory Menu, then click Vendor Maintenance. In the Assigned Customer # field, enter your six-digit Emery member number, and click Change.
2	Set up flex reports (DEF) From Network Access at the FUNCTION prompt, type DEF and press <Enter>. At Flex Name, enter DISEFM and press Display. Enter down to the "Copy To" definition name and enter EMREFM, then press Invoice (F10). Repeat steps 2 and 3, this time displaying Flex Name DISNEW and copying it to EMRNEW. You cannot change the Title of the flex report.
3	Set up the control streams (MTC) Set up the control streams for the electronic communications you will be using with Emery. EMRPOA-Sending Electronic PO EMRERPA-Electronic Receipt Posting EMRPCA-Electronic Price changes EMRRPMA-Electronic Promotions EMREFMA-Electronic File Maintenance Use the Maintain Transmission Control Stream window (type MTC in the Launch bar in Eagle for Windows) or Function MTC from Network Access to add the control streams. Multi-store users: add the store number to the end of the control stream name.
