Find Make and Model

Using Find Make and Model is similar to performing a Year, Make, Model, Engine lookup. Even though the example below shows the PartExpert tab, the instructions are the same for all lookups that allow lookups using the Find Make and Model dialog.

To look up a car using Find Make and Model, do the following:

1. Click the Find Make & Model button.

The Find Make and Model dialog opens.

2. Select a Year.

   Do one of the following:

   • Type the last two digits of the year.  For example, type <0><0> for the year 2000.
      

   • Use the arrow keys to position the highlight on the desired year, then press <Enter>.
      

   The system automatically jumps to the Make selection screen.

The table displays a list of common names, makes and models.

3. Navigate to the Find field and type the first few letters of the model name.

For example, cam. The dialog displays the matching model name.

4. Click OK.

5. Select an Engine.

   Do one of the following:

   • Type the digit that represents the engine.  For example, type <3> for V8-346  5.7L GEN III.
      

   • Use the arrow keys to position the highlight on the desired engine, then press <Enter>.
      

   The system automatically jumps to the Category selection screen.
