InterChange Lookups

When your customer has a part in hand, and there is a part number on it, but little or no indication of the manufacturer, InterChange can help you find alternative parts that may meet your customer's need, subject to fitment verification.

To perform an InterChange lookup, do the following:

1. Press one of the following keystroke combinations:

   • <F2>

   • <Alt+L><N>

The Lookup screen displays.

2. Press <Alt+I> if the InterChange tab is not highlighted.

3. Enter a part number.

For example , type 33122.

4. Do one of the following:

   • Select a manufacturer or

     Select a Manufacturer

     1. Press <Enter>.

     The dialog presents a list of manufacturers.

     

     2. Use the arrow keys to move the highlight to the desired manufacturer.

   • Set the From All Manufacturers check box.

     Select From All Manufacturers

     1. Press <Tab> <Tab>.

     2. Press <Spacebar>.

5. Press <Enter>.

LaserCat 3 presents the lookup results in the main display window.
