Using LaserCat 3 in POS

Starting LaserCat From Eagle POS

Use one of the following functions to start LaserCat in Eagle POS.

• New Car (F2)–to start a new lookup
• Same Car (F4)–to return to the previous lookup during the current POS session. If there was no previous lookup, it functions the same as New Car.
• Non App (F6)–to start a new ItemExpert (none application catalog) lookup
• Mfr Price (F8)– to look up manufacturer prices for a part

Posting from LaserCat to POS

• Return and Post–to post the content of the shopping cart to Eagle POS.
• Transaction Codes–LaserCat supports the standard Eagle POS item quantity posting codes, such as “1E” for Qty = 1, Exchange core. Simply enter the code following the quantity in the posting row before adding the item to the shopping cart, or edit the item in the shopping cart to apply the code.
