Activant LaserCat 3™ is a Windows-based client-server application that features Activant PartExpert®, the most comprehensive automotive aftermarket database in the industry. LaserCat 3 is the latest evolution in electronic catalog lookup technology. It builds upon previous capabilities to bring you more detailed and easier-to-use information more quickly.
Depending on your job responsibilities and the configuration of your installation, you will work with one or more of these four main programs:

Before you try using any of the above programs, Activant recommends that you follow the instructions under Getting Started.
You can navigate this online help application the same way you navigate in Internet Explorer or other Internet browser programs. Use the mouse to move around in the Table of Contents or click certain features in each topic.
Topics may use the following clickable link types, which always display as blue, underlined text:
Hyperlinks jump from the current topic to the linked topic. Here is an example: Getting Started. If you clicked a hyperlink to go to a new topic, but want to return to your previous topic, click 
on the online help navbar.
Drop-down or expanding text is used for examples of dialog boxes or more detailed how-to steps. Click the text to expand it; click it again to contract it.
Popup links open popup windows, which are secondary, smaller windows that display on top of the primary online help window. Here is an example. Click anywhere outside the popup window to close it.
