Setting Up Default SKUs

(Andersen Windows Import users only)

Before you begin using the Andersen Windows Import application, you must set up eight "generic" SKUs for the application to use when it creates an Andersen order.  Even if you want the Andersen Import application to use actual Andersen SKUs that are in your Inventory file, you still need to set up default SKUs for instances where a particular SKU does not exist in Inventory.  

Create an SKU for each of the following categories:

• Casement windows

• Composite windows

• Double-hung windows

• Flexiframe windows

• French Wood Glider windows

• French wood hinged windows

• Cccessories

• "Other"

3. Proceed to the topic "Setting Up Andersen Options," where you will:

   • enter the SKUs you just set up, to tell the Andersen application that these are the default SKUs it should use.

   • define other options for the Anderson Windows Import application.
