If the sale is not for the cash customer number displayed in the Customer box, you need to enter the customer number. You can start the sale and enter the customer number on the Header Screen.
To start a sale on the Header Screen
Display the Header screen.
If the Posting Screen is displayed, press Customer and then header to display the Header Screen.
In the Cust # box, type the customer’s account number.
If the cursor goes to the Job # box, type or select the job number you want to use.
Press tab to move between the boxes on the screen. Change the information in any of the boxes if needed.
Press enter to start posting items to this transaction.
