Warehouse Inquiry is an auto parts ordering application integrated into Auto Eagle POS. The application is initiated from POS posting, allowing you to query your AConneX-enabled vendor to confirm availability and to place orders. You can add items automatically to Warehouse Inquiry from the current POS transaction, or you can manually add them from within Warehouse Inquiry.
In addition to product availability, descriptions, and other typical inventory information, the AConneX query results may also show vendor alternates and availability from the vendor’s trading partners. Like Eagle purchasing, you can use vendor line codes mapped to the Eagle line codes in Vendor Maintenance to automatically apply vendor line codes to Warehouse Inquiry queries and orders. Creating Eagle purchase orders for Warehouse Inquiry orders is optional. When you place an order through Warehouse Inquiry, the system summarizes the order on the POS transaction from which it is initiated.
Warehouse Inquiry requires POS with LaserCat enabled.
The Warehouse Inquiry query (without ordering) function is also available in the LaserCat “SA” (Show Availability) viewer.
