Tape Drive Not Responding This error can be caused by several different problems, the first of which is a dirty tape drive. Start by cleaning your tape drive. If problems persist, then you may have a bad backup tape. Try backing up to a different tape (Warning: never use your last successful backup tape!). If problems persist, call Epicor Software Corporation™ at 800-322-3077 to have your Local Platform Specialist (LPS) paged. You may have a bad tape drive.

No Tape Inserted This error indicates there is no tape in the tape drive. Insert the correct tape.
