Archive Manager: Configuring the Archive Purge

In order to use Archive Manager, you need to enable the application, and set Download and Global PAD folder pathnames. The Global pathname information can be configured in Archive Manager, or in Options Configuration.

To enable and configure the Archive Purge:

  1. From the Eagle Browser, click System Management Menu, and then click Archive Manager.

  2. On the Archive Manager menu, click Set Up (F4).

  3. Click Archive Purge Configuration.

  4. In the Enable field, select Y.

Note: This allows the purge process to run on the Eagle system.

  1. In the PAD Download Folder, type the path to the folder where you keep the downloaded PAD files.

Note: If the folder does not already exist on the PC, you'll receive a message asking if the folder should be created; click Yes.

  1. In the Global PAD Folder box, type the path to the location where you keep the Global PAD files. The information in this file can be shared by other terminals in the store. If you will only access files from one terminal, this field will remain blank.

Note: If the folder does not already exist on the PC, you'll receive a message asking if the folder should be created; click Yes.

  1. Click OK.
