Delete Scanned/Imported Documents

(Document Scanning users)

Use the following procedure if you need to delete a scanned or imported document.

  1. Display the Document Scanning Queue.

  2. If the document(s) you want to delete is in the Document Scanning Queue, click the checkbox to the left of the document(s). (Note: you can also use the down-arrow key and spacebar to place or remove checkmarks)

  3. Click Delete (F10). Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

  4. If the document you want to delete has already been archived (thus it is no longer in the Document Scanning Queue), you must first restore it to the Document Scanning Queue before you can delete it. Do the following:

  5. Click Viewer (F9) to display the Scanned Documents Viewer

  6. Locate the document you want to delete, and click on it so it's highlighted.

  7. Click Misc, and select 2-"Restore document to scanning queue and remove from archive." Click Yes to confirm.

  8. From the Document Scanning Queue, follow step 2 above to delete the document.
