During installation of your Epicor Eagle™ system, the Inventory Date Table must be set up. The Date Table specifies the fiscal year periods used in the Inventory application. Your Implementation Specialist or Personal Trainer (PT) will assist you in setting it up.
From the Eagle Browser, click System Management, and then click Date Table Maintenance. The Modify Date Table window displays.
If you will use a calendar year as your Inventory Date Table, you can leave the defaults. No additional setup is required.
If you will use a fiscal year as your Inventory Date Table, do the following to set it up:
Click in the Start Date column for Period 1, and enter the start of your fiscal year. For example, if the current fiscal year begins July 1, 2002, enter 07012002.
Click in the End Date column for Period 1, and enter the end date. For example, if Period 1 ends on July 31, enter 07312002.
Repeat this process for all the other periods in the Date Table.
Click Change.
