This POS option in Options Configuration governs whether or not a transfer From/To window displays in POS when you start a transfer.
Set this option to Yes if you need to select the From and To store when starting a transfer, because you don't have a separate customer account set up for each From/To Store combination.
Set this option to No to save keystrokes at POS if you don't need to select a From and To store when starting a transfer, because you have a separate customer account set up for each From/To store combination . With this option set to No, the From and To stores will default from the Customer Maintenance fields "Store Account Opened" and "Transfer To," respectively.
To save another keystroke in POS, the option "Display Transfer Options Window in POS" can be set to N . Change this option from the POS window by clicking Tools and then pointing to Options. Then, if you need to change transfer options for a particular transfer, you can always do so in POS by selecting Option S from the Misc menu on the POS Header screen.
