Although you may already be familiar with the classic Epicor Eagle™ applications, you may be unfamiliar with the term "Options Configuration". That's because the term didn't exist in the classic Eagle applications. However, you are probably familiar with the "constants" screens on the classic Eagle system, such as MIV (Point-of-Sale constants), MIC (Inventory constants), and MTR (terminal constants). This topic compares the classic "constants" screens to the Epicor Eagle™ Options Configuration for Windows application so that you can understand the similarities and differences between them.
Unlike the classic Eagle system that has different screens that house different groups of constants, the Options Configuration application contains all constants (now referred to as "options") in one screen. So instead of having to go from application to application to set up your constants, you set up all constants (or options) in Options Configuration.
Where is the Main Menu? To access a classic constants screen, you type the name of the screen at the Main Menu (such as MIV) and press the Enter key.
With the Options Configuration for Windows application, the Main Menu has been replaced by the Eagle Browser. From the Browser window, click Applications in the list in the left pane. Then from the list in the right pane, click System Management Menu, then click Options Configuration.
You can also click the arrow to the right of the Launch box to display a list of recently accessed windows. From this list, you can click one of the choices to display the window.
The following is a table of the classic Eagle constants screens that have been incorporated into the Options Configuration window.
ACON Accounts Payable Constants |

If a classic constants screen is not found in the table, then it is not yet available in Options Configuration. You can still access the classic constants screen from the Main Menu, using Network Access.
The following are some additional constants (options) that you set up in Options Configuration but weren't available on the classic Eagle system:
E4W (Eagle for Windows) All constants that are specific to Eagle for Windows
