This topic applies to Terminal-Based Security. Use the following procedure to remove (subtract) all capabilities from a user. For example, you might use this procedure if an employee has quit or has been terminated, and you want to remove his or her security from the system.
In the Terminal box, enter the terminal at which you want to subtract all capabilities from a user, or enter ALL if you want to subtract all the user's capabilities from all terminals (except terminal 1. If you enter ALL in the Terminal box, terminal 1 is not affected. You will have to repeat the steps in this procedure for terminal 1).
In the Store box, leave the default of 1.
Multistore: Enter the store at which you want to subtract all capabilities from a user, or enter ALL if you want to subtract all the user's capabilities at all stores.
Click Misc. A dialog box displays.
Click Set All Capabilities to No. The dialog box closes.
Click Change.
