The checklist below is for new Timeclock users who have received their preliminary Timeclock training session with an Epicor Software Corporation™ trainer, and are anticipating the follow-up session. Before the follow-up session, you should create a single employee so you can review the setup with your trainer.
Below is a checklist of what will be covered during the follow-up call.
Review of TCLOCK Setup. Remember the IP address is that of the timeclock PC.
Review of MUR setup for the employee that was set up. Pay special attention to how the employee number and job code are tied to Payroll and Timeclock Plus ™. (PEMU = employee number, Job Codes are in Time Clock Plus™.)
On the Timeclock Plus™ PC, check the job codes. Re-emphasize the importance of attaching the job codes found here with the employees in MUR.
On the timeclock PC - check the employee record that was created to make sure that employee number matches MUR, AND the job codes are attached to the employee.
Review the security bits that are necessary to clock in and out. Assign bits to employees if this process is not already completed.
Demonstrate the use of the CIN and COUT functions for your test employee.
Review the logs on the Eagle AND on the timeclock PC. The log detail shows any problems you may be experiencing.
Show how to re-send a Clock IN or Clock OUT if the timeclock PC is not running. (TCLOCK - <Run>)
On the Timeclock Plus™ PC, show the Who's Here option as well as the option to modify time records.
